Spencerport Fire Department members have begun using their new three-story training building on South Union Street. The facility includes two burn rooms and multiple types of roofs, allowing firefighters to to practice interior firefighting, search and resucue, laddering, roof ventilation, and more. Spencerport firefighters will also be able to complete more hours of training in less time as they will not have to travel outside the district for training.
