Hamlin’s “Lucky 13” puppies found their forever homes on Friday, October 17.
Their mom, Dena, was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Ohio when found to be pregnant. Pilots for Paws found Hamlin’s Craig A. Goodrich Dog Shelter willing to take her in.
Volunteers in the shelter helped Dena give birth and care for her 13 puppies, who have thrived by thorough and well-organized attention.
