Hilton Baptist Church welcomes Pastor Daniel Brown as its new pastor on Sunday, October 25.  Pastor Dan and his wife, Karen, along with their two dogs, Shelby and Tozer, relocated to Hilton from Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Pastor Dan is a Western New York native having grown up in Lockport, New York.  During high school, Pastor Dan’s family moved to Newfane, New York where his family has remained.  Pastor Dan attended Niagara County Community College and then SUNY Fredonia where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history.

After college, he acquired a master’s of divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.  Pastor Dan received his local American Baptist ordination through his home church in Newfane.

Pastor Dan has served as both an Associate Pastor and Pastor in separate churches along with spending time in secular employment in a senior living facility.  While working with the seniors, Pastor Dan found a renewed sense of joy, purpose and direction, and reaffirmed his eagerness to live, serve, and do Christ’s work.

After a year as Wesley United Methodist Church’s Minister of Discipleship, Pastor Dan took his gift for leading others and connecting with the youth to become Youth Pastor.  In that role, Pastor Dan led a team of 6 youth leaders and ministered to over 20 teenagers.

The church is excited to begin this next phase of its ministry with Pastor Daniel Brown and invites the community to join in worship any Sunday at 8:30 or 10:30 a.m., 50 Lake Avenue, Hilton.
