Restaurants compete for the best chili in Rochester

Over a dozen local restaurants will duke it out for the title of Rochester’s best chili.  Chili Cookoff is an annual blind tasting and contest held by Genesee Center for the Arts & Education. The event will include unlimited chili samples, local beers, live music from Andy Webster, and a hand-made ceramic bowl to take home.

Genesee Center Studio Artists and Artists in Residence create 350 bowls each year for this event. Proceeds from the fundraiser support all the valuable services the Genesee Center provides the community including classes, studio rental space, artist residencies, exhibits and more.

The cookoff will take place Saturday, November 14 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Genesee Center for the Arts & Education, 713 Monroe Avenue, Rochester. Tickets cost $25 per person or $75 for a family of four (kids under 12). Prices go up the day of event to $30 per person or $80 per family at the door. The event is open to the public.
