Genesee Valley Audubon Society needs a new dedicated Blue Bird Nestbox Trail Steward for Black Creek Park. Head steward Carolyn Emerson has been taking care of the trail for years but is finding it more difficult to make it around the park to clean out the nestboxes and check on the eggs and babies during the summer.
To lighten the load for the head steward, GVAS could use some assistant stewards to help clean and check nestboxes. For more information, contact June Summers at summers@frontiernet.net.
