All games in the round-robin tournament are played by 1860’s rules – no gloves or protective equipment allowed.

The Championship Game begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the museum’s Silver Base Ball Park, the nation’s first recreated 19th-century baseball park.

Participating teams hail from Ohio, Massachusetts, Delaware, Maryland, Maine and Ontario, Canada, along with teams from the museum’s vintage baseball program, introduced in 2001.

The museum’s two ladies’ teams – Brooks Grove Belles and Priscilla Porter’s ladies clubs – will play an exhibition match on Sunday.

Half-price admission ($9 adults, $5 youth, $7.50 seniors and students with ID) will be in effect during the tournament on Saturday and Sunday.
