The Gate youth center grand opening
The Gate is a collaboration of churches, community groups and people committed to creating a safe place for young people. Located at 62 East Avenue, Hilton, the new youth center is a place where youth will be known as individuals, to be encouraged to grow and learn, and to encounter God’s love.
The Gate’s mission is “to demonstrate love to the youth of our community through academic, social and spiritual activities. Our hope is to bring youth into a relationship with Christians who can share their faith. Our vision is a community where future generations experience, follow and serve God.”
“I am the Gate. Anyone who goes through me will be cared for – will freely go in and out, and find safety.” (John 10:9)
Things you can do at The Gate: hang out and make new friends, play games and listen to music, get perspective on life, get help with homework and tutoring, and eat and drink great food and Eurasia coffee and tea.
