Free art exhibition at Tower Fine Arts Center

Hide and Seek Nola Zirin“Hide and Seek” by Nola Zirin is just one of the works that will be on display during Continuity to Change: Recent History of American Abstraction, a free exhibition at the Tower Fine Arts Center Gallery, 180 Holley Street, Brockport. A reception celebrating the exhibition will be held on Thursday, January 31, at 4 p.m. According to gallery director Tim Massey, this exhibition “chronicles developments in the Abstraction movement from the mid-20th century to the current day, and emphasizes the central tenets the methodology: composition, color, content, and material.” Continuity to Change runs from January 31 through March 3. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. For information, call 585-395-2805.
