Drums-Alive “Golden Beats” is specially designed for seniors age 55 and up to improve the participants’ lives, physically and psychologically, through a unique sensory-motor drumming program involving drumsticks, an exercise ball, and music. The program creates a “whole mind, whole body” experience to meet the needs of everyone.
Riga Recreation offers the class from 10 to 11 a.m. every Monday (March, April, and May) at the Riga Town Hall Community Room, 6460 Buffalo Road, Churchville. Participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes (sneakers) and bring a water bottle. To register, call 293-3880 ext. 130.
