Knights of Columbus support frontline healthcare workers across NYS

In partnership with the New York State Knights of Columbus Frontline Healthcare Workers Appreciation Day, brother Knights from Councils across New York honored front line workers on May 22, 23, and 24 by providing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners to nursing home facilities.

Knights from the Finger Lakes chapter provided breakfast and lunch to 240 workers at four Saint Ann’s nursing home facilities. Knights purchased breakfast pizzas from Tops Market in Spencerport and sub trays from the DiBella’s sub shops in the Rochester area. The four facilities served were The Greens in Leroy, Cherry Ridge in Webster, Chapel Oaks in Rochester, and the Sisters of Saint Joseph Motherhouse in Brighton. Workers at all the facilities were appreciative and could not thank the Knights enough.

The event was organized by conference chairman Kevin Fitzpatrick, Council 11411 Saint Damian Molaki, Rochester, with the help of Roman Zguta, Council 7707 St. John the XXIII in Spencerport. Providing additional assistance were Gary Stephany, Council 4812 Our Lady of the Genesee in Henrietta; Bill Stewart, Council 3676 Saint John Fisher in East Rochester; Mike and Bob Rejewski, Council 7707 St. John the XXIII in Spencerport; and  Ron Smith, Council 11411 Saint Damian Molaki in Rochester.
