PGUCC holding Pie Sale Fundraiser

The Parma Greece United Church of Christ, located at 1211 Manitou Road at the Latta Road intersection, is hosting a Pie Sale Fundraiser. Profits from the fundraiser will be used to support the programs and services of the church.

PGUCC is fully committed to responding to the needs of the community, both local and beyond as it pertains to food insecurity and homelessness. The church is a partner with the Hilton Parma Emergency Food Shelf and the Salem Nutritional Center in downtown Rochester. Participation in this fundraising effort will allow PGUCC to have an even greater impact on behalf of those in need.

It’s as easy as pie to make a difference. Leo’s Bakery and Deli is supplying the pies and desserts for this effort. There are also specialized ground coffees available to purchase. Call the church at 585-392-6120 to place and order or you may do so online at localgood.shop. The deadline for pre-paid orders is Sunday, October 15. Pies that are ordered through the church will be available for pick up on Saturday, November 11. All baked goods are frozen, so they can be kept until Thanksgiving.

The Parma Greece United Church of Christ celebrated its 189th anniversary this year serving its local and global neighbors. Worship services are Sunday mornings at 9 a.m., led by Pastor Bradley Klug. PGUCC is a welcoming, caring community, bringing together people from multiple religious traditions and backgrounds, honoring the spiritual journey of each individual. No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcomed.
