Arts Connexions Rochester: Oratorio Society

The Rochester Oratorio Society (ROS) continues its Arts Connexions series on February 15 with a special recital, “Niña de Tercera Cultura” (3rd Culture Girl), featuring soprano Isabel Randall. The performance begins at 3 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 25 Westminster Road, Rochester.

Randall, renowned for her crystalline voice and expressive artistry, has captivated audiences across the United States and abroad with performances that span opera, art song, and contemporary repertoire. She will visit Rochester to present an intimate evening of music that reflects her artistic journey and personal roots.

The program will feature original poetry by Randall and works by celebrated composers across various eras, blending classical traditions with fresh interpretations that showcase Randall’s unique vocal style. Audiences will also enjoy insight into her musical path, including stories of her studies, performances, and cultural connections.

“Isabel brings both technical brilliance and an ability to connect deeply with listeners,” said Eric Townell, artistic director of ROS. “This recital is a wonderful opportunity to experience an emerging talent whose artistry resonates far beyond the notes.”
