New member installed, two events coming up
The Brockport Lions Club installed new member Tammy LaMere during their January 21 meeting. Past District Governor Greg Lund administered the installation.
The Lions Club is joining forces with Brockport Community Connection to host a Stuff the Trailer event on Sunday, February 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Brockport Vets Club, 222 West Avenue. Drop off non-perishable food items to restock the Brockport Food Shelf. Free chili and hot chocolate will be available, and the Brockport Buskers will play live music.
The Brockport Lions Club will mark 75 years of service in 2026. An anniversary celebration is being planned for April 15 at Whitehall Mansion. Watch for more information to be announced soon.
Meetings are held at the Brockport Vets Club on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 6:30 p.m. For more information, contact Greg Lund at 585-281-8309.
