Local residents met New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli at a Monroe County Democratic Committee event last week. Comptroller DiNapoli was appointed by a bipartisan majority of the New York State Legislature in 2007 and has been re-elected to the office by voters four times since. He is running for re-election in 2026. The Comptroller’s office has many functions, including providing support to local municipal finance officers and local governments, conducting municipal audits, and stewarding the state pension system.
