Comedy for a Cause!, featuring comedy legend Vinnie Paulino, will be held on Wednesday, April 15, at Comedy @ The Carlson, 50 Carlson Road, Rochester. Doors open at 6 p.m. for this laugh-filled evening in support of the volunteers who produce free programming for people with reading disabilities through the Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service (NFRRS).
With razor-sharp wit and a delivery that feels like a conversation with your funniest (and most cynical) friend, Vinnie Paulino balances high-energy observation with a fearless willingness to say exactly what everyone else is thinking. Beyond the stage, he interviews the A-list comedians and hosts his own Who Are These Podcasts?

Since 1987, NFRRS has provided free audio versions of local and national newspapers (including Westside News), magazines, and best-selling books to more than 100,000 people across the Western New York-Greater Rochester-Southern Ontario region who can’t read this information in print.
Listeners may be blind or have dozens of other health conditions that impact the ability to read, like glaucoma, macular degeneration, brain and spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, Down’s syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, or dyslexia.
All programs are produced by a team of more than 160 volunteers, and are available on air, online, on the NFRRS mobile app, and on the major podcast services for those who need this critical information to make daily decisions and stay connected to the world around them.
