Community Beautification Event
The Great Greece Cleanup, a community-wide initiative aimed at keeping the town clean, safe, and beautiful, will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Greece Town Hall, 1 Vince Tofany Boulevard.
Residents and groups of all ages are invited to come together and volunteer their time to help remove litter from high-need areas of town. This effort reflects the Town’s continued commitment to environmental stewardship and community pride.
Participants will be provided with cleanup supplies and assigned to designated areas throughout town. This event is family-friendly and offers a meaningful opportunity for individuals, families, students, and community groups to make a visible impact. Lunch will be served at noon
“Keeping our town clean is a shared responsibility,” said Supervisor McCann. “The Great Greece Cleanup is a great opportunity for residents to come together, take pride in their community, and help preserve the natural beauty that makes Greece such a special place to live.”
Those wishing to participate are asked to register in advance at https://greeceny.gov/the-great-greece-cleanup-volunteer-sign-up/.
