Features Quilts, Vendors, and Creative Experiences

The Genesee Valley QuiltFest will take place May 15–17 at the RIT Gordon Field House, 1 Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester. This premier regional event celebrates the artistry and craftsmanship of quilting, drawing participants and visitors from across the region and beyond.

The show will feature more than 600 traditional and art quilts created by both local and national artists, showcasing a diverse range of styles, techniques, and creative expression. From intricate traditional patterns to bold contemporary designs, attendees will experience the full spectrum of modern quilting.

In addition to the quilts, the event will host 60 quilting and art vendors, offering fabrics, tools, supplies, and handcrafted items. Visitors will have the opportunity to shop, discover new products, and connect with experts in the quilting community.

A variety of classes, lectures, and special exhibits will also be available throughout the weekend, providing educational and interactive opportunities for quilters of all skill levels, as well as those new to quilting.

Event hours are Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $15 per day for adults and children over 13.
