The Brockport Lions Club hosted some special guests at its May 6 meeting.
Hank Adams, a 26-year retiree of the United States Marine Corps, attended to present Lion Sal Sciremammano with the 8th Tank Battalion USMC Rochester, NY, Honor Roll plaque. Lion Sal was the first to win this award in 1975 and is now the owner of the plaque.
The Lions Club also presented the Brockport Hamlin Jr. Blue Devils football team with a $2,000 check. The funds were proceeds from a pancake breakfast hosted by the Brockport Lions and the Jr. Blue Devils in March and will be used to purchase new equipment.
