The Women’s Council of First Congregational UCC, 65 Church Street, Spencerport, will host a Book Sale August 13–15 to benefit the Spencerport Ecumenical Food Shelf and Love for Misfit Meeps, which gives abandoned, unwanted, and special-needs cats a second chance at life. All proceeds from the event will support the two organizations.
Shoppers can browse a wide selection of books, CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks during the sale, which will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on August 13 and 14, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 15.
Paperbacks will be available for 50 cents each or three for $1, while hardcovers will range from $1 to $3. CDs will be sold for $1, and audiobooks and DVDs will be priced at $2 each.
