The community is invited to a free piano recital at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 635 Old Wilder Road, Hilton, on Saturday, August 29, at 6:30 p.m.
Pianist Huiping Cai will perform selections by renowned composer Franz Liszt. Cai, a Chinese pianist, has been praised by Third Coast Review for her “dignified and mature approach” and is recognized for her lyricism, nuanced musicality, and formidable technique.
A prizewinner in numerous international piano competitions, Cai most recently earned the Top Prize and Best Rachmaninov Performance Award at the 2026 Carles & Sofia International Competition. In September, she will travel to Hungary to compete in the Franz Liszt International Competition, where she is one of only 14 pianists selected to advance to the live competition round.
