The Brockport Food Shelf is running low on soup, which is one of its most requested items. Sweden Clarkson Community Center is hosting a Soup Drive to help restock the shelves.
Donations of hearty/chunk soups, stews, chili, and broth can be dropped off in the collection basket near the front door of the Sweden Clarkson Recreation Center, 4927 Lake Road South.
As of August 24, 117 pounds of soup had been collected, and organizers say every can makes a difference in helping to support community members in need.
The Soup Drive will run until September 15, 2026.
