Lifetime Assistance Launches Adapted Accessibility

New 3D Printing Business

Lifetime Assistance has launched Adapted Accessibility, an innovative new business division that designs and manufactures affordable assistive devices built by people with disabilities, for people with disabilities. Powered by advanced 3D printing technology, the division’s initial product line includes adaptive switches and accessories that enable individuals to interact more easily with communication devices, gaming controllers, household electronics, and other everyday equipment.

Adapted Accessibility was established through a transformational gift from the B. Thomas Golisano Foundation. This investment allows Lifetime Assistance to expand and increase vocational opportunities, supporting greater independence and inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Through hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing technology, individuals supported by Lifetime Assistance contribute to every stage of the production process—from printing and assembly to packaging and fulfillment—while helping deliver affordable, high-quality adaptive solutions to individuals, families, educators, therapists, and service providers.

“Adapted Accessibility represents the very best of our mission in action,” said Bryan O’Donovan, President and CEO of Lifetime Assistance. “We are combining innovation, inclusion, and opportunity in a way that benefits both the people we support and individuals with disabilities throughout our community and beyond.”
