Ferris Goodridge Post officers elected

Ferris Goodridge American Legion Post 330 held their elections for the upcoming year. Ferris Goodridge Squadron 330 of the Sons of the American Legion also held their elections. Elected as Commander was Jim Maloney, 1st Vice Commander is Doug Moffett; 2nd Vice Commander is Jerome Toepper; 3rd Vice Commander is Mark Sawicki; Treasurer is Sean Ryan; Chaplain is Ty Seaman; Historian is Tim Howard; Sgt. at Arms is Bill VanArsdale.

The Ferris Goodridge American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Officers are as follows: President is Deb Carey, 1st Vice President is Pam May, 2nd Vice President is Millie Dibble, Secretary is Barb Marhatta, Treasurer is Audi Hess with Joanne Bell being the Sgt. at Arms.

The American Legion Family at Ferris Goodridge American Legion Post 330 donated time and money to many local causes during this year, including materials and money to the Veterans Home in Spencerport, provided a scholarship to a deserving senior in Spencerport High School, as well as sponsoring three students of Spencerport to both Boys State and Girls State at SUNY Morrisville. Over 600 Stockings for Soldiers were filled for the Chrsitmas season and over 225 packages were sent to local soldiers serving overseas. Three returning veterans were presented with their Hometown Banner in November. Other sponsored community events included Cash Bashes, Ham Raffles, Turkey Raffle and the bi-annual Chicken and Biscuit Dinner.
