Area Fire District elections commissioner results

In the Hamlin Morton Walker Fire District which held its first election since consolidation in early 2013, Ron Bres-lawski was elected to a five-year term, Glen Unterborn was elected to a four-year term, James Guion was elected to a three-year term, Scott Witte was elected to a 2-year term and Daryl Prince was elected to a one-year term.

Breslawski, Guion, Unterborn and Daryl Prince had been appointed commissioners when the district was consolidated in March.  Mike Gross, Jack Prince and Chris Brown had also run for commissioner. The top five vote getters were elected, with the longest term going to the candidate with the greatest number of votes.Vicki Breslawski was elected Fire District treasurer.

In the North Greece Fire District Linda Andreano was elected to a five-year term. She is the first woman commissioner in the district and the first non-firefighter.  She beat incumbent Frank Lombardo and Joseph Camiolo.

Prior to the election, Andreano stated she was the only “just-a-taxpayer” with business and managerial background to ever run for the spot.  “My swing vote is the only vote for taxpayers’ interests, period,” she said.
In the Spencerport Fire District, incumbent David Spencer won a five-year commissioner term beating challenger Millard “Dave” Fairley.  Dave Resch was elected to a three-year commissioner term beating Tod Ritzenthaler.

In the Hilton Parma Fire District, challenger Steve Speer won over incumbent Don Harter for a five-year commissioner term.
