Code Enforcement Officer retires

The Spencerport Village Board has been notified of the retirement of Code Enforcement Officer Kevin Kelly as of December 13. Kevin, formerly Police Chief of Great Neck on Long Island, has served the Village of Spencerport as Code Enforcement Officer for the past 10 years. Those of us who worked with Kevin at the Village Offices will miss his fine Irish humor as well as his dedication to our Village and we wish him well.

The Village welcomes Lt. Richard McQuilkin, of the City of Rochester Fire Department, who also is a volunteer with the Spencerport Firemen’s Association. Rich resides in the village with his wife, Mary Jean, and two daughters, Maeve and Nora.

The Code Enforcement Officer’s job is considered part time with approximately four hours a week.
