Gates Chili Chamber to recognize Community Award winners
The Gates Chili Chamber of Commerce will present its 2015 Community Awards at the end of April. The awards honor individuals and organizations that have made a significant impact on the quality of life in the Gates and Chili communities.
This year’s winners are:
•Beautification Award (Chili) – Westside Cemetery
•Beautification Award (Gates) – YMCA – Westside
•Joseph Entress Memorial Award – Midlakes Development & Construction, Ltd.
•Innovative Business Award – ACM Medical Laboratory
•Culture and Arts Award – Churchville-Chili Concert Choir
•Outstanding Citizen – James VanBrederone, Chief of Police, Town of Gates
•Distinguished Youth Award – Relay for Life Committee, Gates Chili High School
•Dream Big Award – Huether Heating & Cooling
•Special Recognition Award – Gates Keystone Club, 45 years
•Special Recognition Award – the late Larry Glazer, founder of Buckingham Properties and the late Jane Glazer, founder of QCI Direct
The Awards Gala Dinner will be held on Thursday, April 30 at the Diplomat Banquet Center, One Diplomat Way (off 1956 Lyell Avenue).
