Hilton Education Foundation sponsors second annual “Pigs on Parade”

The Hilton Education Foundation’s Piggy Banks are hungry so the Hilton community’s children don’t have to be.

Lookout for 12 piggy banks placed in businesses throughout Hilton, then feed them with any spare change. In January, 100 percent of the money collected from the pigs will be donated to the Cadet Cupboard, which provides food on weekends and school breaks for children in need. The Hilton Education Foundation will auction off the piggy banks during its Comedy Night Under the Stars on Saturday, January 23 at Deerfield Country Club.

Hilton High School art students painted the banks, each with a different design.

People can find the decorative pigs at the following locations: Carmestro’s Restaurant, 50 Canning St.; Five Cent Fast Can & Bottle Redemption Center, 650 Lake Ave.; Green Acre Farm & Nursery, 3456 Latta Rd.; Hilton Family Pharmacy, 32 Main St.; Hilton NAPA Auto Parts, 106 Lake Ave.; Hovey Square Liquor, 11 Hovey Square; Jose’ Joe’s, 24 Main St.; M&T Bank, 2 Main St.; Summit Federal Credit Union, 41 Hovey Square; The Coffee Corner, 32 Main St.; and Tops Friendly Markets, 98 South Ave.
