Village Elections March 15
This year’s slate for village elections is a light one. Voters in the Villages of Hilton and Bergen will head to the polls Tuesday, March 15, from noon to 9 p.m.
In Hilton, three candidates are running for two open seats on the Village Board of Trustees. Incumbent Jim Gates is seeking another four-year term. Craig Burritt and Richard Wilt are also running. Trustee Andrew Fowler is not seeking re-election.
Voting will be held at the Village of Hilton Community Center, 59 Henry Street.
In the Village of Bergen, two Republican candidates are running for two, four-year trustee seats. Incumbent Robert Fidele and Planning Board Chair Vickie Almquist are on the ballot. Trustee Paul Cooper, who has served on the Village Board for 12 years, is not seeking re-election.
Voting will take place at the Bergen Village Office, 11 North Lake Avenue.
The Villages of Churchville and Spencerport have no elections this year.
The Villages of Brockport and Holley hold their elections on Tuesday, June 21.
In Brockport, three trustee seats will be up for election – one to complete a term to June 30, 2017, and two for terms to June 30, 2020.
In Holley, voters will choose a mayor and two trustees in the June election.
