For the second year in a row, Jacob Rogers has been selected as Seymour Library’s  “Summer Teen Volunteer of the Year.”

Jacob, a senior at Brockport High School, spent hours at the library reading to several young Book Buddies each week, presiding over two sessions of the fourth and fifth grade Lunch Bunch book group, supervising the Teen Writing Group, and reviewing and posting teen book review submissions.

Over 100 teen volunteers contribute substantial support to Seymour’s summer reading programs every year.
