The Village of Hilton and Town of Parma Boards met January 21 to discuss the future of the community. The boards discussed the Special Police team and future equipment purchases, and the need for additional volunteers. Upcoming budget processes were discussed, as well as the need to purchase land to be shared for stockpiling of materials. Both entities expressed a commitment to providing the best service to residents while keeping costs as low as possible. Zoning regulations for abutting Village and Town properties were considered along with the effect on residents. Joint meetings are held bi-annually and are always open to the public.
