Monroe County is in the process of distributing more than one million masks to the public with the help of local towns and villages. The distribution will take place on Saturday, May 9, and Wednesday, May 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Distribution sites include:

•Brockport’s Oliver Middle School, 40 Allen Street

•Chili Town Hall, 3333 Chili Avenue

•Churchville Fire Department, 24 Washington Street

•Clarkson’s Hafner Park, 3645 Lake Road

•Gates Town Hall, 1605 Buffalo Road

•Greece DPW, 647 Long Pond Road

•Hamlin Town Hall, 1658 Lake Road (north parking lot)

•Ogden Community Center, 269 Ogden Center Road

•Parma Town Hall, 1300 Hilton-Parma Corners Road

•Spencerport Village Office, 27 West Avenue (Saturday only)

•Sweden/Clarkson Community Center, 4927 Lake Road, Brockport

Residents are to remain in their vehicles and drive through the pick-up line. Tell distribution volunteers the number of people living in your household and the appropriate number of masks will be handed through the window. Monroe County has secured enough masks to provide four per resident of the county.

New York State has mandated the use of face coverings in any instances where social distancing protocols cannot be followed. While many have purchased masks or resorted to homemade solutions, this distribution will help ensure all Monroe County residents have access to masks.
