This year life with the COVID-19 virus has necessitated the altering or cancellation of most social events including The Spirits of Spencerport Ghost Walk. These circumstances have allowed us to get more creative with how we accomplish our mission to Investigate, Preserve and Promote Ogden’s History. We’ve utilized media to bring you virtual tours of the 2020 exhibits, articles recounting the history of a few artifacts in the collection, and stories about some of the people that settled Ogden.
Originally put on as a fundraiser for the 2017 Celebrations, the Ghost Walk has continued with the Ogden Historical Society as a means to support our mission. It’s a popular event with a dedicated committee. Cancellation is disappointing to all, and we felt the need to do something.
The Ogden Historical Society is pleased to announce that weekends in October will feature videos of some of our favorite Ghost Walk Stories.
