The Spencerport Rotary Club recently launched a new “Student of the Month” program in partnership with the Spencerport School District. Each student chosen receives a certificate as well as a gift card to a local merchant, purchased by the club. The Rotary feels this program has four positive results – spotlighting a deserving student, strengthening Rotary’s partnership with the school, highlighting a Rotary program to the community, and supporting a local merchant by purchasing a gift certificate.
