The Sweden/Clarkson Community Center expanded its hours on March 1, in accordance with guidance from the Monroe County Health Department. New building hours are Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. One hour time slots have been increased for Fitness Center members.
Capacity within the Fitness Center has increased to six at a time; capacity for various activity rooms has also increased, allowing more participants in each type of class. The Community Center is now able to offer three nets of pickleball at a time, including 18 participants.
Open cards and euchre will begin on March 8 and the toddler gym has opened with a maximum of four children at a time. Participants must enroll for all programs in advance (no drop-in participation). To enroll or for more information, call 431-0090.
