Local electronics recycler, Sunnking, has scheduled upcoming e-Recycling Events for Rochester-area residents. Events will be held on May 15, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, at Genesee Social Services Department in Batavia, and June 12, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, at Greece Arcadia High School. Anyone wishing to recycle their devices can register for e-Recycling Events at sunnking.com/events or use its drop-off site locator at sunnking.com/dropoff.
Health and safety procedures will be in place at each event to ensure a safe environment, including timed appointments, no-contact device removal, and dedicated drive-through lanes. A complete list of recyclable devices is available on the Sunnking website.
In the past five years, Sunnking has helped improve our community and planet by recycling 123 million pounds of electronics. An average of 100 tons of electronics are collected per event.
