This case with Vanessa is not being handled in the proper manner. The town and the judge are discriminatory towards her breed. The lady that was bit said she does not know what dog even bit her. Vanessa and her sibling were both leashed on their own property. The way Vanessa has been locked up for 10 months and is forced to live in very cruel and inhumane conditions. Criminals get better treatment than what this poor dog has been forced to exist and she’s not allowed any visits from her family. She is also a support dog to the family. It’s like she is in solitary confinement. This is beyond wrong she is not guilty of she was charged with. It’s like the judge is trying to break her spirit so she dies of a lonely heart. Vanessa deserves to set free and be with her family that love her. All these months without her family. Poor baby is probably so confused and wondering where her family is at! They right thing to do is give her back to her family! Thank you and please free this poor baby. One more thing in the state of NY there is a “One Bite” Law which states that an owner is only liable for their animal’s injurious actions if the dog or animal, to the owner’s knowledge, has shown prior vicious propensity in the past. Vanessa has never had any prior issue with any of this and she was not guilty of biting the plaintiff. There are court documents which are the plaintiffs words she said she did not know which dog bit her. A higher court vacated the order for her to be euthanized. Judge Murante is trying to ignore the higher courts vacate order.He is still trying to have this poor dog euthanized. He said she will never be allowed to go back to her family and this is wrong in every way. She should have not been taken from her family. Please save Vanessa’s life and get her back to her family. Thank you.
