Clifton FD cancels 2021 parade and carnival

The Clifton Fire Department has made the difficult decision to cancel our 2021 parade and carnival scheduled for August 6 and 7. Since 1935 this annual event has been important to our community and members. This year we are celebrating our 86th year of service to our district and surrounding neighbors. Even with the New York State guideline changes and the pandemic slowly subsiding, our priority continues to be the health and safety of our members and loyal supporters.

Our annual carnival is our largest fundraising event. Therefore, we will feel the loss of this income from our annual budget. We are and will continue to look for other possible fundraising events. The Clifton Fire Department annual fund drive letter will be sent out to our fire district residents in the coming weeks. If you are not a district resident and would like to make a tax-deductible donation, you can mail a check payable to the Clifton Fire Department Inc., 53 Wheatland Center Rd, Clifton, NY 14428. Thank you all in advance for your continued support.

Please be assured that in the event of an emergency, we will be there. Stay safe and healthy. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s carnival when we can gather with family and friends to continue making great memories.
