There is an international port right in the Village of Brockport on the Erie Canal. Volunteers at the Brockport Welcome Center meet people from all over the world. Ambassadors for Brockport, also known as Greeters, welcome guests that come by boat, bike, car, or foot. Their mission is to encourage visitors to enjoy Brockport’s hospitality and the amenities the Welcome Center has to offer.
