The Spencerport Depot and Canal Museum has re-opened for 2021 and is currently open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Ogden Photo Contest is also returning this summer. This contest has four age categories: Elementary (K-5), Middle School (6-8), High School (9-12), and Adult (18+). Local artists and photographers will judge each category separately, and prizes for first place, second place, and honorable mention will be awarded in each. There is no theme to this year’s photo contest, so let your imagination run wild.
Contest rules are available online at spencerportmuseum.org/photos. Submissions should be made via email to contest@spencerportmuseum.org and are due by Tuesday, August 31. When submitting photos, include the name and age of the photographer and a contact phone number. Winners will be announced in September and all entries will be displayed at the museum that month.
