A Summer’s End Skate Jam will be held at the Sweden Town Park on Saturday, September 11, from noon to 4 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for Best Tricks on the pyramid, mini-ramp, and box, as well as for the fastest lap around the park. There will be food vendors and a variety of basket and gear raffles.
Sponsored by the Sweden Skatepark Coalition, the Skate Jam proceeds will benefit the Town of Sweden’s new skatepark, scheduled to be constructed in 2022. The Sweden Town Park is located at 4745 Redman Road. For information about the event, contact robbieradcia@gmail.com or jillw@townofsweden.org.
