Launched in 1992, the Young Eagles program has dedicated more than 30 years to giving youths ages eight to 17 their first ride in a general aviation airplane. It’s the only program of its kind with the sole mission to introduce and inspire children in the world of aviation.
EAA Chapter 44 is holding flight events at the WNY Sport Aviation Center, 44 Eisenhauer Drive, Brockport on the following dates: May 21, 9 a.m. to noon; June 18, 3 to 6 p.m.; July 23, 3 to 6 p.m.; August 20, 3 to 6 p.m.; and September 10, 9 a.m. to noon.
