Brockport resident receives Lifespan award
Triciajean Jones, of Brockport, received the Carter Catlett Williams Award for Excellence in Aging and Long-term Care Services by Lifespan. Jones has been working in Eldercare since 2011 and joined the team at Rochester Presbyterian Home in November. She serves as Assistant Administrator at the Memory Care Residence at Creekstone and an Eden Educator.
Jones holds a B.S. in Recreation and Leisure with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation, as well as an M.S. in Health Care Administration. She is a Certified Eden Alternative Educator, Guide and Associate, and she is also a Certified Trainer in the Positive Approach to Care® (PAC) philosophy.
She is a 2016 graduate of the New York State Ignite Leadership Academy and was awarded the Leading Age Employee of Distinction award that same year. Jones now serves as a Coach for the New York State Ignite Leadership Academy; facilitating collaboration and growth with colleagues from across the state of New York.
In her new role as a member of the RPH leadership team, she will assist with the overall management of the Creekstone community, supporting Elders and coaching Care Partners in the continued growth of the RPH caring community.
