Spirits shared their stories during annual Ghost Walk in Spencerport

This year’s Spirits of Spencerport Ghost Walk was held on Friday, October 14, and Saturday, October 15, with sold out performances both evenings. The weather was cool and clear for the community to walk around the village and hear historical and spooky tales. The efforts of many contributed to make the event a success – greeters, guides, actors, Studio 19 Dance Company dancers, The Addams Family cast from the Spencerport High School’s STAGE Drama Club, Russ Young and his hearse, servers,  the Ogden Special Police, and Joel Humphrey for coming up with many of the Ghost Walk stories. Spencerport Depot and Trolley Museum, Hunt Realty, The First Congregational Church, and Union Street Coffee House also lent their support to the event. Refreshments were donated by Spencerport Tops and Brockport Wegmans. The Spirits of Spencerport Ghost Walk is held annually as a fundraiser for the Ogden Historical Society.
