Sweden sets public hearing
for rezoning application

The Sweden Town Board has received an application to rezone a 3.5-acre piece of property on Colby Street from B-2 Airport Commercial to I-2 Light Industrial. The property is located about 4,500 feet west of Sweden Walker Road. The purpose of the rezoning request is to allow the construction of storage units which are not permitted in the B-2 zoning.

In keeping with its policy to hold public hearings 45 days out from the date the public hearing was ordered, the Board set the public hearing for January 10, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. Copies of the application, including the site map, are available for review at the Town Hall, 18 State Street, during normal business hours.
