Seniors who own a home in the Town of Ogden, including the Village of Spencerport, should check with the assessor regarding eligibility for the Senior Citizen exemption (RP467).
Those who own a primary residence in the Town of Ogden, will be 65 years or older by December 31, 2023, and have a gross income below $58,400 may qualify (other restrictions may apply). This exemption may reduce property taxes.
The deadline to apply for the exemption is March 1, 2023. Ogden residents should visit the assessor’s office at 269 Ogden Center Road, Spencerport, NY 14559, or call 585-617-6107 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
