NYSDOT to host public meeting on bridge rehabilitation project in Brockport

The New York State Department of Transportation will host a public information meeting on Thursday, February 9, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. pertaining to an upcoming project to rehabilitate the bridge carrying State Route 19 over the Erie Canal in the Village of Brockport. The informal, open-house-style meeting will be held at Seymour Library, located at 161 East Avenue, Brockport.

The meeting will feature displays and literature about the project and provide an opportunity for discussion with NYSDOT representatives, who will be available to receive comments and answer individual questions. The purpose of this project, which is expected to start this spring, is to modernize and extend the service life of the bridge and help ensure the continued flow of people and goods along a vital travel route for Brockport.
