Celebrate the holidays with White Christmas: The Musical

OFC Creations invites you to dance your way through the holidays with Irving Berlin’s classic songs in White Christmas: The Musical, based on the beloved film. A timeless tale of joy and goodwill, White Christmas is filled with nostalgic songs, glorious dancing, and lots of snow – a trifecta sure to warm the hearts of the whole family this holiday season.

Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters on their way to a Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander.

OFC’s largest dance show of the season sparkles with enormous tap numbers, revolving pianos, and a shimmering score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “Sisters,” “I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm,” “I Love A Piano,” “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep” along with the perennial title song. Directed by OFC Executive Director Eric Vaughn Johnson, with music direction by Teressa Bala and choreography by Caeli Carroll. The set design is by Jack Haldoupis, the owner of A Horse with Wings who designed the entirety of OFC’s The Old Farm Café.

“We are thrilled to bring this heartwarming musical to our community,” shares director Johnson, “This is truly a holiday show for all ages. Whether this a movie or music that you are familiar with, or you’re brand new to this show, or event OFC, seeing it come to life as a stage musical, with our talented cast, will be an experience we invite families to enjoy together.”

Performances of White Christmas run December 7 through 23 at OFC Creations Theatre Center, 3450 Winton Place, Rochester. Tickets are now available at https://www.ofccreations.com/whitechristmas or by calling 585-667-0954.
