On Sunday, December 10, at 4 p.m., the renowned chamber choir Madrigalia will appear at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church for its annual holiday concert. The program promises a blend of fresh, original songs and cherished classics from diverse traditions, with words of hope intended to ground the community’s holiday celebrations.
Listeners will enjoy songs about the delights of light, winter, and the solstice as well as Christmas and Hanukkah. The choir will be accompanied by violinist Daphne Pickens, cellist Kathleen Kemp, flutist Joanna Bassett, percussionist Matt Witten, pianist Kevin Nitsch, and Madrigalia’s Artistic Director Cary Ratcliff, all collaborating to fill the historic St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with beauty, warmth, and joy.
