Brockport Winter Market returns for second year

The Village of Brockport and Brockport Merchants Association are hosting the second annual Brockport Winter Market on Saturday, December 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Merchants will be hosting over 25 local crafters and artists throughout the Village’s Historic Business District on Main and Market Streets. Santa Claus will be at the Brockport Welcome Center (11 Water Street), along with a canal side campfire.

Additional activities include street musicians, an open house and smoke detector installation sign-up at the Brockport Fire District’s HQ Station at 38 Market Street (free), tours (free) and mini-workshops ($) at It Begins in Brockport (Brockport’s new makerspace), and Letters To Santa at Mark’s Pizzeria (free). The Brockport First Baptist Church will also be holding a Christmas Cabaret Benefit Concert from 3 to 5 p.m. ($).

Although the Main Street bridge is out, it is easy to access the village with multiple ways to enter and exit, and ample parking. More information can be found by searching “Brockport Winter Market” or by calling 637-5300 ext. 110.
