‘Tis the season to say thank you

Thank you to everyone who donated blood this year at American Legion Post #330 in Spencerport. During 2023, a total of 116 units of blood were collected helping 348 people. The donated blood went to help patients at Strong Hospital, Albany Medical Center Hospital, Sisters of Charity in Buffalo, Arnot Ogden Med Center in Elmira, Samaritan Hospital in Watertown which also assists those at Ft. Drum, and the states of Georgia, Maine, and Maryland benefited from your donations as well.

Thank you to Spencerport Rotary, especially Joe Marasco who helped organize the filling of 30 stockings that went to Bethesda Military Medical Hospital, along with Legion Post #330 members and the Chili Senior Center that donated supplies that went into 166 stockings. All totaled, 196 stockings were shipped and received, putting smiles on those that may have needed one that day.

Thank you to those who supported the Craft Fair at the Legion on December 2, helping the vendors and customers get an early start on making holiday memories.

Thank you to those who supported the Cartons for Christmas program by donating food, time, smiles and joy to those families in need.

Spencerport is truly “Someplace Special.”
